Alberta: Beauty Within is an ongoing photo-series highlighting Alberta's vast and impressive arts culture. The series places ballerina's in iconic landscapes throughout the Province, using the ballerina as a visual symbol for the arts. The series began when we noticed that our home province was often perceived negatively, at home and abroad. Being pretty big fans of Alberta, we set out to change perceptions and give a glimpse into our own view of Alberta.

To date, the series has showcased Lake Louise, Waterton Lakes, Horseshoe Canyon, Frank Slide + the Crowsnest Pass, Dinosaur Provincial Park, Downtown Calgary and the historic town of Nanton. It has been featured in numerous publications, most notably The Huffington Post Canada.

Collaborations and Partnerships have included the incredibly talented dancers of The Alberta Ballet + The School of Alberta Ballet, Jeunesse Classique Ballet and The International School of Ballet; award winning photographer Dave Moss from Abby plus Dave; and the tourism team at The Canadian Badlands.
