*First off, we need to give a huge congratulations to Sam for his Silver Medal in the Luge Team Relay at the Winter Olympics in PyeongChang. Way to represent and make Canada proud! Wahoo! So awesome! ... And now back to their wedding:

Elyce + Sam were out in Victoria when we first started talking about their wedding plans, but even through the long distance chatter, we felt a pretty awesome vibe. And after our first meeting in Calgary we knew that we were going to be a perfect fit. They're the type of people that you want to be friends with right away - let's call it 'like at first sight' :)

It was really important to the pair to make sure that all of their locations we're close and walkable (as we heard this our ears perked up - if you know us, you know that walking is our jam!) Getting ready was split between Ramsay + East Village, their Ceremony was outdoors at Fort Calgary and their Reception was beautifully held at The Commons. Right after their ceremony, Elyce, Sam + their wedding party marched through Inglewood, heading towards their reception venue but first stopping along the way for some photos by the river and drinks at The Deane House. 'The Walk' was definitely a highlight and we love the warmth and energy it brought to the photos.

Not to be outdone, the evening was full of emotion and laughter - we felt as though we truly got to know both Elyce + Sam by the end of the night, a perfect example of why we absolutely love speeches. Side One took over from there and absolutely rocked the dance floor - pretty sure everyone was a little sweaty by the end of the night. Haha!
