Danielle + Erik | Azuridge Estate Hotel | Winter Wedding

It's been such a pleasure getting to know these Danielle + Erik over the last year and a half. After an adventure in downtown Calgary for their engagement shoot, we couldn't wait for their winter wedding out at Azuridge.

The day before, the weather decided to play nice and give us a beautiful fresh coat of snow, leaving Azuridge looking simply gorgeous for the wedding! The two had a lovely relaxed morning with their family and friends, and after the getting ready shots we headed straight into the ceremony (inside the stunning opal dining room). 

D+E were surrounded by a close-knit group, giving the ceremony a very warm and intimate feeling. Ceremonies are sometimes an overlooked area in wedding photography but we always come away with some of our favourite shots!

Once the signing made things official, we grabbed the wedding party and wandered around the Estate's winding pathways and beautiful backdrops. A highlight was climbing through the knee high snow for some photos near the stream on the road leading into Azuridge (we seriously work with the coolest couples! Always up for an adventure).

As the sun started to go down, it was time for the reception which took place in the converted garage (so cool). The evening featured some awesome food, great speeches (one of the funniest best man speeches we've heard yet) and genuine smiles all around.  What a night!
