Karleigh + Ross | Revelstoke Mountain Wedding

In one of our last posts, we talked about rainy weather and how dynamic and engaging the final photos always turn out to be. Well, sometimes the drizzly stuff can alter plans outside of the ceremony - like taking a helicopter up to the summit for portraits. Karleigh + Ross encountered this last summer in Revelstoke when the weather was uncharacteristically wet. The clouds were completely socked in and the helicopter wasn’t able to fly - luckily Revelstoke is a pretty awesome town and we had plenty of inspiring spots to head for photos. (*Special thanks to whoever owns the house with the giant weeping tree on their front lawn!)

Their reception was held up at Revelstoke Mountain Resort’s Revelation Lodge - a wonderful venue with a breathtaking view of the valley below. It was such a great vibe all night long - the energy from the dance floor, the great food, tears + laughter and shot-ski’s in heavy rotation at the bar.

Karleigh + Ross, thanks so much for bringing us out to Revelstoke to photograph your amazing wedding day! We had a blast with you + your crew and definitely have a new fave spot in BC!
