2. Family Groupings + Wedding Party

For the majority of the wedding day, we like to let things unfold naturally, but the formal family portraits are an exception. We feel that these traditional portraits are very important are very important and so we make sure to plan ahead to ensure that things run smoothly. 

We ask that you think about 1) who you want to be in your family + friend portraits and 2) all of the different groupings that you'd like to have. It's best if you can include names and family relation. We also suggest that you think of a certain someone (family or friend) who could be assigned as a 'special assistant' to help us coordinate and call out the different groupings. As much as we try, we simply can't memorize all the different names and faces and so it's a big help to have someone a little more familiar with the group.
