Andrea + Brett | Winter Wedding | Calgary Photographers

The new year got off to a wonderful start with Andrea and Brett's intimate winter wedding at the start of January. Kevin and I connected with these 2 through another romance... See, my dad (Steve) and Brett's dad (Greg) have ignited an old friendship and the two share many 'date-nights' around the city. When we heard Andrea and Brett wanted to meet about covering their wedding, we were extremely honoured and jumped at the opportunity. 

When the big day arrived, a close-knit group gathered at The Lake House for the wedding ceremony and a reception shortly afterwards. This was such a wonderful wedding to capture, with it being a smaller group, it's so easy to feel connected with everyone in the room. Andrea + Brett's son, Myles, was seriously too cute for words. He may have shed a few tears going down the aisle but overall, he was happy all day.. mostly because there was a zambonie out on the ice! The Lake House is definitely one of our favourite venues in Calgary and we also had access to Lake Bonavista, which made for some stunning winter photos. Thanks for braving the serious cold with us (and for climbing that hill guys!) The shots were worth it!
