Laura + Matt | Urban East Village Wedding

We've had a crazy busy end to 2016, and an even busier start to 2017! Not to mention we had our baby boy last week (don't worry, we'll be sharing some more on that later... teaser for now). In short, we haven't been able to share Laura + Matt's wedding until now. And it is well worth the wait.

Rewind back to August of last year and that brings us to L+M's wonderful rooftop wedding at the Simmons building. These two have been East Villagers from the beginning and it was only fitting for them to get married at this venue (it's such a beautiful viewpoint - YYC needs more of these!)

After their ceremony under sunny blue skies, we hopped over to St. Patricks Island for some portraits in the lush green trees, tucked next to the Bow River. Remember when Calgary had greenery?? Haha, oh don't worry winter, we love you too.

The night closed out back on Charbar's rooftop space as the sun slowly set. We take it for granted but our sunsets here in Calgary during the middle of summer are pretty dang spectacular! The perfect backdrop to the perfect party.

Laura + Matt - It was such a pleasure to capture your wedding and we hope to run into you guys next time we're grabbing some food in EV :)
