Hillary + Tim | Camp Fircom Wedding | Gambier Island | Vancouver Wedding Photographers

Ahhh. What a perfect weekend celebration on the Sunshine Coast! This was not exactly the original plan, but we can vouch for the fact that it was absolute perfection. We were lucky enough to be included as part of this intimate celebation (as we not only call these two friends but family as well… Tim is actually Kevin’s cousin!)

It begun with a water taxi from Vancouver to the charming Camp Fircom on Gambier Island. The wedding day was relaxed - Tim + Hillary wrote their vows (+ took a dip) in the ocean while the rest of the family spent the morning exploring the beaches + forest trails of the Island. Overlooking the Howe Sound, Tim and Hillary had their ceremony at the end of a short path on a beautiful bluff called The Benches. They included their sweet ‘baby’ Jack in the ceremony and I’m pretty sure we all enjoyed too many oysters (and a hand selected assortment of their favourite craft beers). We took some portraits as the sun went down and had the most glorious al fresco dinner under the stars + some twinkly lights (can every wedding dinner be like this please?!) The night ended with a late night fire, an impromptu first dance and even some bioluminescence in the ocean to add to the magic of the night.

Tim + Hillary, you two complement one another in the most beautiful ways. You are both such amazing parents to Jack and such supportive partners to each other. It undoubtedly wasn’t easy, but you pulled off a killer wedding celebration during such a crazy year… Congrats again and thank you so much for having us be a part of it all!
