A few days in Moustiers-Saint-Marie

Last week we escaped to a beautiful little mountain town called Moustier-Saint-Marie. It is about 3.5 hours from where we are situated and truthfully, we put no research into this trip and chose the location based on what was available on AirBnB... and did we ever luck out! This is by far one of the most charming and beautiful places I have ever been. The town is built on the side of a limestone cliff and is located very close to the stunning Gorge du Verdon. We had the pleasure of meeting up with our beloved Jonny for an amazing day of  hiking in the Gorge, followed by an accidental flat tire and a defeated trip to the mechanic. (Who knew a 'tiny' rock could pop a car tire?) Overall, one of my very favourite trips so far! And a massive bonus ... Kevin drove half of the trip! His driving skills are getting serious.
