When an ordinary Tuesday in August becomes absolutely extraordinary!

We feel so much joy when we think back to this intimate Kananaskis Wedding from last summer and a lot of it stems from how Nicole and Reimon so intentionally approached their day. They thought about the things they love together and incorporated these elements into their day (many of them being their favourite foods… easy to say that these are our people! haha) Nicole is an amazing baker and made the most delicious and STUNNING treats to snack on after their ceremony.

These two were both genuinely so present and in love all day long. The weather called for some rain and there were certainly some moody skies, but absolutely no nerves… they were just so excited to be around one another, getting ready for their ceremony and sharing the magic with their family.

Their immediate families (and their pup, Auggie) witnessed the beautiful mountain ceremony and champagne toasts. Their ceremony was held at a stunning viewpoint just behind the Pomeroy Kananaskis Mountain Lodge. Not gonna lie, Kananaskis Country is one of our favourite places to photograph Elopements and Weddings. It’s not nearly as busy as other nearby spots in the mountains, and the scenery has a certain ‘wildness’ to it… hard to explain so we’ll let the photos do it for us haha.

It’s days like these that remind us what an honour it is to have the jobs that we do. We feel so grateful to be able to witness love and document it for such amazing people (and better yet, we get to do it together!)

We’re already looking forward to 2022’s adventures…
