Christy + Kyle | Intimate Jasper Wedding | Rocky Mountain Photographers
We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again, wedding days are best when they are filled with joy and intention. Christy + Kyle’s day was just that!
These two celebrated with their immediate families at their absolutely delightful family cottage in Jasper National Park. From their hand-tied flower arrangements and a pretty intense round of ‘killer croquet’ (a cherished family game), to Christy saving the very last sip of her favourite bourbon to ease those nervous moments… this intimate wedding day was just so personal, so them. Both immediate families came together to help create this heartwarming day and we absolutely loved how present everyone was throughout the day.
The ceremony was held behind the cabin, overlooking the forest, mountains and Lake Edith peeking through. After the ceremony, there were toasts to the couple and canapes (…pretty sure everyone shed a few tears during their toasts). We then took off with C+K for an impromptu hike in Jasper. The day was perfectly relaxing, no one was rushing around (not when we got there anyways...) and it all flowed together so organically. We ended the night right on the lake, Christy and Kyle in their little rowboat and us on the tippy canoe.. haha (nice paddling Kevin!) It was an absolutely magical end to the night, the water became still as glass and if we dare to be extremely corny, love was in the air…
Thanks again to C+K and their families for sharing this beautiful day with us.
