Our last few posts have been sharing some intimate Banff elopements (which we adore), but we also are lucky enough to capture some amazing larger-than-life weddings as well - case in point Surbhi + Kyle’s wedding last summer. This breathtaking mulit-day Wedding in Banff was such an amazing experience for us! As the months and days grew closer, we knew Surbhi + Kyle’s Wedding was going to be amazing but when it arrived, we were truly blown away by the 5 days of celebrations. The sheer amount of beauty in every room of every venue and the joy + love in every moment. Our words simply don’t do it justice.

First and foremost, we have to say that Surbhi + Kyle make a really great couple. Like, really great. It couldn’t have been easy navigating the planning of this wedding (albeit, they did have the amazing Lynn Fletcher Weddings on board), and these two remained so positive and relaxed throughout. They balance one another in the best ways and we couldn’t be happier for these two!

Banff National Park was such a perfect backdrop for their luxurious Indian Wedding. The mountain landscapes surounding Lake Louise and the Banff townsite are just so synonymous with their celebration - grand yet intricate… beautiful and awe inspiring. It was especially wonderful watching the families from both sides connect and have the time of their lives, while experiencing the majestic Canadian Rocky Mountains.

From their Baraat along the lakeshore of Lake Louise to the more intimate Haldi ceremony held on the Victoria Terrace at Chateau Lake Louise, we were honoured to photograph this amazing celebration. Not to mention the epic reception at Banff Springs, or garden tent party at Mountview BBQ. All of these shifting venues and moving parts let us capture everything in our natural documentary style, allowing everyone to have a genuinely wonderful experience while we captured all of their incredible moments. Oh, and to all the guests who asked how many photos we took… we kept it under 50k (barely)
