Pauline + Daniel | Summer Silvertip Resort Canmore Wedding | Calgary Wedding Photographers

It’s always an honour to be chosen as photographers… and when we’re chosen by another super talented photographer, it’s extra special. We hit it off with Pauline and Daniel right away over our shared love of food (if you want to know the best places to eat in the city, just ask these 2!) We couldn’t wait for their wedding as the summer came to an end.

Pauline and Daniel held their September wedding in Canmore at the beautiful Silvertip Resort. Their ceremony was held at the gazebo with the commanding Mt. Rundle Range as their backdrop (quite fitting as it was the location for their first hike together!) After the ceremony we snuck away for portraits - the whole time they were totally relaxed, yet buzzing with an excited ‘just married’ energy (it’s amazing how sometimes you can visibly feel the love people have for one another!)

The entire day was filled with love and intention, from sipping their favourite drinks in the morning to enjoying cigars by the fire at night, all surrounded by their favourite people. This group also brought tons of laughter - a definite highlight was the pho-quila and irish-mushroom savory soup cocktails (a play off of one of Daniel’s creative ideas). Not totally convinced this idea is going to take off but our fingers are crossed… haha

We always love capturing both photo + video at a wedding. The two mediums compliment each other so well and we love being able to tell a unique, in-depth story of the day. We suggest watching their highlight film first, and then scrolling through the photos afterwards.
