Tara + Taylor | Simmons Building Engagement | Calgary Wedding Photographers

These two are getting in married in Golden later this year but were in Calgary a few weeks ago & they decided to book an engagement shoot during their visit. Even though Kevin was off on an adventure up in the Yukon, I was really excited to meet Tara + Taylor. We all got up super early on a Sunday (we needed that coffee... it wasn't just for the photos!) and met at The Simmons Building in East Village for some casual shots on the second floor.  These two are so easygoing & awesome together... It's such a pleasure working with couples with such natural chemistry. Plus, they have matching tattoos. :)

Afterwards we headed outside for some shots under a big, beautiful tree near the bridge to St. Patrick's Island. The sun gleaming through the leaves gave the perfect amount of back-lighting, adding a warm and intimate touch to these shots. In the end we captured a nice mixture of playful, yet intimate photos.

I had a blast with you Tara + Taylor - you are such an awesome couple and we hope you have the perfect wedding day! (which we're a little sad that we will miss... haha). Enjoy it! xo
