Fall weather in the Rocky Mountains is always difficult to predict, case in point - Marlena + Quin’s wedding last October. The weather came out of nowhere but the beautiful snowfall made the mountains look like something out of a fairytale. The snow set against the fall colours was the perfect backdrop to their wedding day (we always love dynamic weather conditions… a less than ideal forecast almost always leads to stunning photos!)

Marlena and Quin also shared this amazing day with their son Cotty (who may just be the cutest baby of all time!) His suspenders and little yellow bow tie were too adorable. We love kids at weddings as they bring a little chaos and unpredictability (in the best way).

After getting ready in seperate locations, Marlena + Quin held their first look just outside of the Malcolm, along the edge of the water. It was such a touching moment and we knew the rest of the day was going to be amazing. The entire wedding party was buzzing with energy and we were laughing and smiling all the way to the Ceremony.

Later that evening at the Reception, there were some hilarious speeches given (some lines mayyy have been crossed haha). There were also some surprises as the evening continued. Marlena’s Father/Daughter dance was a mix of hip-hop and a gorilla suit (keep scrolling through the photos and you’ll see), but it was perfectly them. The entire room absolutely exploded and the party vibe never stopped! We love when couples decide to go against convention and opt to make the day their own. So good!
